When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of family, friends, and FOOD. When I think of food I think of farms. When I think of farms, I think of farmers.
Even scarecrows deserve a nap on Thanksgiving
I am thankful to all the farmers out there, be they organic or conventional, small or large. I am thankful to farm workers, and especially to those who look after farm workers’ rights.
May you all – farmers and consumers — have a day of good eating and good napping!
